Coaching

Making shifts at the personal level ladders up into team, organizational and wider system impacts.

In these unprecedented times, leaders throughout organizations are facing complex, rapidly changing contexts which call for clarity of purpose, clear perspective and decisive action. They also call us to be nimble, courageous, visionary, and grounded.

Executive coaching creates space to reflect, dream, make significant shifts, and bust assumptions and limiting beliefs. It generates insights and fresh perspectives about your life and situation(s), and supports different choices – opening the way for you to cultivate new possibilities.

I coach leaders from all sectors – business, non-profits and government, and including entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs and systems intrapreneurs (people working under the radar for transformative change in large institutions or corporations.) I was co-founding faculty and executive coach for THNK School of Creative Leadership, and Simon Fraser University’s Certificates in Social Innovation and Evaluation for Social Impact and Transformational Learning.

I mentor and coach informed by four decades of working from self to system for transformative change, steeped in and informed by Appreciative Inquiry, Trust Theory, Integral Theory, Chaordic Design, Systemic Constellations Work, Process Oriented Psychology, Theory U, Enterprise Facilitation and more. Fundamental to my practice is drawing on and helping others leverage the potential of inner work – interior ways of working based in intention, perception, intuition and sourcing from the stillness within.

A few of the many benefits of coaching include:

  • A safe space to say exactly what is going on for you, internally and externally.
  • Support to see what is emerging, thanks to the quality of listening – deep open listening, that supports you to go deep.
  • Help to connect dots in your situation thanks to another being able to see what you can’t.
  • Support to shed the “lone wolf” conditioning that we have to do things on our own, and to grow capacities for engaging and collaborating with others.
  • Cultivation of your capacity to lead and coach others.

Life wants to happen, like the current of a river, and it calls each of us to surrender our fears, blocks and baggage. With the mounting pressures of this time, more of us have the courage needed to dive deep, and a thirst for greater fulfillment, effectiveness, and joy.

As another option:

If you have a systemic change strategic challenge or opportunity consider a SupraTank session, an offering I co-created with my four collaborators in EmergeCollab.

With gentleness and generosity, Kate has a remarkable ability to help people surface truths and insights. Her processes, which are rooted in inquiry, expansiveness, and love, guide people towards deeper wisdoms that enable them to flourish in their work.

Kate’s delicate attunement to what needs to arise, combined with her fierce stewardship of the unfolding of truth, helped us to move from a place of hurt and polarity towards a place of healing and maturity.
